Beacon Fell, Longridge
Situated on the edge of Beacon Fell in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, this project delivers a carefully considered leisure park development that responds to both its rural setting and the needs of modern users. Graham Anthony Associates were appointed to provide full planning and architectural design services, supporting the client’s vision for a high-quality, well-integrated scheme.
The Outcome
The layout and design were shaped by the natural topography and surroundings, ensuring the built elements sit comfortably within the landscape. The buildings feature a warm and welcoming material palette, with a mix of timber cladding, composite finishes and aluminium detailing, creating a contemporary yet sympathetic appearance.
A strong focus was placed on access, movement and user experience, with clearly defined routes, natural screening, and open spaces for relaxation and recreation. The park includes landscaped outdoor areas, parking, and well-connected footpaths, offering an environment that promotes both functionality and wellbeing.
This project reflects a thoughtful balance of design quality, environmental sensitivity and practical delivery, creating a destination that complements the wider landscape and serves a range of leisure and tourism needs.
